Project Success Services

Many nonprofits spend a lot of time and energy on important projects. Unfortunately, not all projects meet their objectives. Is it because nonprofits do not know how to execute projects? Of course not! Complex projects are hard. Very hard.

Common obstacles include vague or unobtainable objectives, arbitrary deadlines, insufficient budgets, lack of project governance, and inadequate staffing. This is where an objective third party can help. Thoughtful work done before a project can eliminate many of the barriers to successful completion.  

Some would say no project is given all of the requested resources. Yet once resources are allocated to a project, the work must be structured efficiently and appropriately. David will work with you to position your projects for success right out of the gate.

While working at Andersen, David found that a partner from a different office or even another country would be assigned to provide regular, independent reviews of important projects. An objective third party—someone who was not involved in the day-to-day, and who did not have a stake in the outcome review projects—is an effective tool for keeping projects on track.
